Google Visually Translates ‘La Bamba’

Google is using the well-known song “La Bamba” to show just how well their Translate app works in real-time.

Google’s Translate app lets you instantly visually translate printed text in several languages. “Just open the app, click on the camera, and point it at the text you need to translate—a street sign, ingredient list, instruction manual, dials on a washing machine,” according to a Google blog post.

Aside from the Translate vs. La Bamba video being entertaining, there’s some high-tech ‘magic’ taking place in the background.
